Calculus
Limits, differentiation and integration, taught so the ideas make sense before the procedures are drilled.
- Category
- Academic subjects
- Who it's for
- School and university students taking a calculus course or examination
- Format
- In person or online
Calculus is where a lot of otherwise strong students lose confidence, usually because the rules were memorized before the ideas behind them were clear. This programme teaches limits, derivatives and integrals as things that mean something, and only then drills the technique.
It covers what school and university courses require, and what the calculus-based parts of AP and university entrance examinations expect. Problem sets build from routine practice up to the multi-step questions examinations are actually made of.
